Tom Dalpiaz

Portfolio Manager, Seelaus Asset Management

Tom Dalpiaz serves as a Senior Municipal Portfolio Manager. He joined the firm in 2013 and has over 30 years of experience in the municipal bond business. Mr. Dalpiaz started as a municipal bond credit analyst at Bank of New York, Merrill Lynch, and Weiss, Peck & Greer. He later transitioned from credit analysis to bond portfolio management and subsequently spent time working at Weiss, Peck & Greer, Sage Capital Management, Neuberger Berman, and Advisors Asset Management.

In his role at Seelaus Asset Management, Mr. Dalpiaz not only manages bond portfolios for individual clients, financial advisors, and institutions but also trades and researches the municipal bond market and regularly publishes a market commentary. He has had a series of bond articles published in Forbes and is author of “Managing Municipal Bond Portfolios For High Net Worth Investors”, a chapter found in The Handbook of Municipal Bonds by Sylvan G. Feldstein and Frank J. Fabozzi.

Mr. Dalpiaz has an MBA in Finance and a BA in History, both from Hofstra University. He is Series 7, 24, and 79 licensed.
